Introduction to Professional Studies
Today, we started out our first session of Introductory Professional Studies!

This module, which is by far the longest-running in our schedule, will teach us about the industry we are about to enter, with its ethics, mechanisms, unions, and pathways, but also about the necessary paperwork that needs to be done for a proper production.
We will learn about presentation skills, report-writing and survey-making, as well as doing a bit of client work within that context.
Topics that will be covered are varied, such as e.g. plagiarism, ethics and conduct, set hierarchy, planning and time management, unions, payment (rates), etc. To me, it seems that this is the module that ties everything together and provides the missing pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
So as you can see, there will be much to learn, so bear with me as I will blog about it in the upcoming months!
