The Storm Rages On

As you may have inferred from my past postings and the weather report for the North East, college was closed to students today as well.

And while the weather remained essentially the same, the closure of college now really means that we have to file for mitigation. For as of now, we have not only lost one day of filming, but also two days of editing as well. And even though we still have the equipment at our disposal, the weather renders it impossible to film any footage at all, since our actress, director, and sound op are still unable to come to Hartlepool, on top of the fact that the owner of our location is not available during the weekend.

However, I am not too bummed about that outcome for a deadline extension would give us more than enough time to reschedule and get that final footage done with. Plus, I've recently been pretty sickly and exhausted so a couple of days 'off' (or at least with a lesser workload) can do no damage to my health.

So what did I do in the meantime?

I filled out the mitigation form on my behalf to have it ready for Monday morning, checked the status of my paperwork for the module, prepared my bag, and obviously enhanced the appearance and contents of my blog.

So as of now, it's really just a waiting game and a short respite before the last sprint.
